On June 2nd, the second doctoral seminar within the SCHOLARNET project took place. The SCHOLARNET project is a joint project in cooperation with the University of Sofia (Bulgaria), the University of Versaille (France), and the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg, in which an international exchange of knowledge between researchers, doctoral students and companies from different sectors is to be made possible. In this seminar, participants from Romania, Ukraine, Japan, Kenya, Bulgaria, France, and Germany were able to listen to exciting presentations and discuss topics such as Industry 4.0, Innovation Management, and Macroeconomics, Finance and Banking. The Chair of Industrial Management was also represented by Johannes Veile, who gave an insight into the research of the chair in the field of Industry 4.0, entitled “Digital platform-based business models in the context of Industry 4.0”. In sum, the discussions and feedback were valuable experiences for all participants which they can use as inspiration for further research.

We are already looking forward to the next exchange soon.
